Telling Tales

Jesus is depicted here, sitting underneath a tree, looking out at all the people around him so that he can make a personal connection with each of them as he tells his story. Jesus was known for telling stories, or parables, as his style of teaching because with story telling, Jesus was able to spread his ethos to others so that they too could go and spread his gospel in a way that they could understand.
