Is Silence Killing Your Company?

Can silence be a silent killer? Slowly draining away your resolve in a partnership? At times it can feel like being silent is the best option, you don’t want to rock the boat too much with an opinion that differs from those around you. This mindset can be lethal because it takes away input to potential problems that others don’t have the insight for, it lessens the effectiveness of the conversation that is happening. Having a small confrontation early on in a partnership about something tangible is much easier than hashing out a difference later in a broken partnership. A first step to breaking your own silence is to be open and vulnerable about your own perspectives. This connects back to a previous post, you need to have the power to talk in order to be a successful communicator.
